These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the KamooHub platform, operated by Hinkaku SARL, a company established in Yaoundé, Cameroon, hereinafter “KamooHub”.
1. Purpose
The purpose of these Terms is to define the conditions under which KamooHub makes its B2B intermediation platform for the rental of construction equipment and machinery in Cameroon available to its users (Clients and Operators).
2. Acceptance of the Terms
Registering on the KamooHub platform constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these conditions, you may not use the platform.
3. Description of the service
KamooHub is a B2B intermediation platform that allows:
- Clients to post requests to rent construction equipment and machinery.
- Operators to respond to those requests with rental offers.
- The KamooOps team to provide supervision, contract validation and dispute handling.
KamooHub is not a party to the service contract concluded between the Client and the Operator. KamooHub acts as an intermediary.
4. Registration and user account
- Registration is open to legal entities and professionals.
- The user undertakes to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- Identity verification (KYC) is mandatory before any major action (posting a request, submitting an offer).
- An account may not be shared between several people.
- KamooHub reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that does not comply with these Terms.
5. Client obligations
- Post genuine requests that correspond to real needs.
- Pay 100% of the contract amount onto the platform before the job begins.
- Not attempt to contact the Operator directly outside the platform before contact details are unlocked.
- Report any dispute using the tools built into the application.
6. Operator obligations
- Only list equipment that they own or legally manage.
- Respond within the allotted time to requests matching their catalogue.
- Not include direct contact information in offers or counter-offers.
- Comply with the terms of the electronically signed contract.
- Report any unavailability of equipment as soon as possible.
7. Offer and negotiation system
- The platform provides a system of counter-offer rounds between the parties.
- All offers and counter-offers are moderated automatically to detect and block any exchange of direct contact details.
- KamooHub reserves the right to reject any offer containing contact information.
8. Contracts and electronic signatures
Contracts generated by KamooHub comply with the OHADA Uniform Act on General Commercial Law (AUDC) of 15 March 2021 and with Cameroon's Law No. 2010/021 of 21 December 2010 on electronic commerce.
The electronic signature applied through the application has the legal force of a handwritten signature in accordance with applicable Cameroonian legislation. The generated PDF contract constitutes proof of the agreement between the parties.
9. Payments and held funds
- The Client pays 100% of the total amount of the job onto the platform before work begins.
- Funds are held by KamooHub and released to the Operator once the job has been validated.
- KamooHub charges a service commission, the rate of which is communicated at registration.
- In the event of a dispute, the funds remain held until the KamooOps team issues a decision.
10. Guaranteed 24-hour response time
- KamooHub undertakes to ensure that every request receives a response within 24 hours of being posted.
- If no Operator replies within that time, the KamooOps team steps in manually to find a solution.
- This time limit is configurable by the platform administrator and may vary.
11. Disputes between users
- In the event of disagreement between a Client and an Operator, either party may open a dispute through the application.
- The KamooOps team examines the file, gathers evidence from both parties and issues a decision.
- The KamooOps decision may provide for: no refund, a partial refund or a full refund.
- The parties accept the KamooOps decision as a prerequisite to any legal action.
12. Intellectual property
The KamooHub platform, its logo, its content, its code and its design are the exclusive property of Hinkaku SARL. Any unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.
13. Limitation of liability
KamooHub may not be held liable for:
- The non-performance or poor performance of a job by the Operator.
- Damage caused to the Client's equipment or property by the Operator.
- Temporary unavailability of the platform for technical reasons.
- Any fraudulent act committed by a user despite the verification measures in place.
14. Termination
Users may delete their account at any time from the application settings. KamooHub may terminate an account without notice in the event of a serious breach of these Terms. Contractual obligations in progress at the time of termination remain applicable.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Cameroonian law and OHADA law. Any dispute shall be submitted, failing amicable resolution, to the competent courts of Yaoundé, Cameroon.

Terms of sale
These Terms of Sale apply to transactions carried out through the KamooHub platform between KamooHub (as intermediary) and its users (Clients and Operators), who are legal entities or professionals.
Free service
- Prices for jobs are freely negotiated between the Client and the Operator through the platform.
- Use of the platform is free for users, with no registration fee and no charge for making the service available.
- Prices are expressed in CFA francs (XAF), all taxes included.
Payment terms
- Accepted payment methods: Mobile Money (Orange Money, MTN MoMo) and bank card.
- Payment in full (100% of the contract amount) is due before the job begins.
- Funds are held on the platform until the job is validated and released by the KamooOps team.
Refunds
- If cancelled before the contract is signed: full refund within 5 to 10 working days.
- If a dispute is resolved in the Client's favour: partial or full refund according to the KamooOps decision.
- Refunds are issued using the same payment method as the original transaction.
Invoicing
A digital invoice is issued for every completed transaction and is available from the application.
